We Give

Who thought buying a giant wrench ever had anything to do with offering free cleft pallet surgery, or with helping the homeless get a much needed supper and shelter on a cold night?

In addition to providing a wide range of valuable resources to our customers in the way of producing hard to find and useful industrial wrenches, we believe our Corporate philosophy must go beyond this. In helping the least of us who hunger for food to eat, sit out each night in the cold without shelter, or face a plight many of us are fortunate enough to find unimaginable, we believe we can make a difference in our local communities and abroad each step of the way.

IMPERIAL-Newton gives a portion of it’s corporate proceeds to carefully screened efforts directed at helping those in need of food, clothing, shelter and other necessities of life we all need and some starve for lack of. We encourage our Employees to donate time in helping efforts in the local community and abroad in support of caring for our fellow human beings, the environment, and creatures great and small.

We ascribe philosophically to the idea that when there is fish to be had and the body is able, the greatest good is done by helping a person get a pole and learn how to fish, rather than to just simply to give them a single meal, for there is much wisdom in the saying “you can give a man a fish and he eats for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he eats for life”. In the spirit of this idea IMPERIAL-Newton Corp gives to organizations which we find responsibly support micro loans and other similar programs so that people around the world can start or improve their own business right in their own town or village, and begin to build a sustainable living using their own abilities and ideas.
